The Training Source, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization whose mission is to provide superior training on state-of-the-art equipment and methodologies to meet individual and workplace development needs.  The goal is to develop skills currently in demand by employers so that completers of  The Training Source’s programs have the skills necessary to fulfill employer hiring and staff development needs.

In carrying out its mission, The Training Source, Inc. offers a variety of employment and corporate training programs.  Courses range from one day to fifteen weeks to ensure that the learning needs of each student are met.

Training Programs

• The Office Automation Training program includes life skills, professional skills, and computer skills training for unemployed and underemployed citizens with the goal of developing all of the skills required for successful transition to the workplace.

• Quick Start computer training classes for individuals or organizations needing brief retaining or skills upgrading for workplace success.

• Self-Improvement Programs (SIP) designed to assist homeless citizens in transition from homelessness to planning and preparing for self-sufficiency.

• Youth Programs designed to introduce high-technology concepts, goal setting, career planning, leadership and mentoring, and responsible behavior to at-risk adolescents.

• Management and Employee Development Training for public and private sector organizations customized to enhance the effectiveness of existing staff for organizational success.  Fees from these training initiatives are used to supplement operations for the above programs.
