The Training Source’s Quick Start program offers computer training classes to those who possess some computer and keyboarding skills, but lack updated computer software skills to be competitive in the workforce.  Students  may take a series of one- day or two-evening classes to learn the basic and intermediate functions of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).  Quick Start focuses on technical skills development.  Workbooks and student data disks used during class exercises are kept by the students to use for later review and practice.

When are Quick Start Classes Held?

Day classes are held from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.  Evening classes are held from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm for two evenings per class.  Call now for the next Quick Start class dates!!

How Much Do Quick Start Courses Cost?

Quick Start training classes cost $200 per class, with one class free with a minimum of six classes.  Funding is available for eligible unemployed or underemployed Maryland or District of Columbia residents.

 Where are the Office Automation Program and Quick Start Classes Held?

On-site training is conducted at The Training Source, Inc., 59 Yost Place, Seat Pleasant, MD next to Addison Plaza Shopping Center (within walking distance of the Addison Road Metro Station).
