At the Training Source we offer a 15-week comprehensive Office Automation Training Program that helps program participants to obtain employment skills that are currently in demand by area employers. These classes are available to eligible unemployed or underemployed citizens. This program utilizes self-paced instruction which allows each student to develop skills according to his or her learning capabilities.

  Key components of this 15-week program include: 

• Computer Skills - Computer Concepts, Keyboarding/Typing, MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and Outlook); 
• Life Skills - Self-Esteem and Motivation, Time/Money Management, Business English, and Communications
• Professional Skills - Resume Preparation, Business Correspondence, Interview Techniques, Dressing for Success, Successful Job Search Strategies,  and Job Survival Tips.

When are Office Automation Classes Held?

• Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for 15 weeks. Call now for the start date of our next Office Automation Training class.

What are the Requirements for Admission?

• 18 years of age or older 
• High school diploma or GED
• Possess a desire to work and make improvements in your life

How Much Does the Office Automation Training Program Cost?

• Program participation is exclusively available for eligible candidates. All candidates that are admitted into the program receive full funding if you are a qualified Maryland or District of Columbia resident.
