EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR 2011!

On September 4th, The Training Source was named 2011 Employer of the Year by Shabach! Ministries, Inc. at their 15th Anniversary Celebration held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden. This honor recognized our work with SMI's Summer Youth Employment Program since the inception of the program. In addition to The Training Source's Employer of the Year honor, Shardae Richardson, 5th-year intern at The Training Source, was honored as the 2011 Intern of the Year. Shardae has begun her junior year as a Finance Major at Howard University's School of Business.

AN AFTERNOON OF EXCELLENCE WITH SENATOR JOANNE C. BENSON

On Thursday September 8, 2011 the Honorable Joanne C. Benson toured The Training Source. Afterward she sat down to answer the concerns and issues of the students and to inspire them to continue their goals in pursuit of their careers. Click here to catch a glimpse.

On September 15th, 2011 Executive Director Kim Rhim was interviewed on "Interviews with Ingrid" -- a CTV cable television program hosted by then Prince George's County Council Chair Ingrid M. Turner.

BRIDGE BUILDERS AWARD

On September 15th, 2011 Executive Director Kim Rhim received a Bridge Builders Award at the Community Foundation for Prince George's County's 2011 Civic Leadership Awards Gala. To see and hear more click here.
